The carpets are cleaned, the RAs are fully trained and the giant tents are up outside the residence halls. It’s Welcome Week!
The newest Owls begin hauling their gear into the dorms on Thursday while Temple’s more than 200 student organizations set up info booths down Liacouras Walk. Other Welcome Week highlights include the Ultimate Cherry and White Experience and Hypnotist, a concert with Keri Hilson and The Dream and a 100-foot banana split in Mitten Hall.
For those of you who have the dual honor of being both alumni and parents, there’s a special reception in the Alumni Center in Sullivan Hall. Stop by for refreshments and catch up on all the latest alumni happenings.
