Temple alumni in the D.C. area – relive your memories of Temple’s Spring Fling at a special event for Owls at Mezza Luna in D.C.

Mix and mingle with friends, former classmates and new acquaintances at our very own Spring Fling Happy Hour on Tuesday, April 13 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.

Enjoy free appetizers for the first hour and drink specials throughout the evening. Be sure to sample the “Temple Tini” shots, sponsored by Absolut. And, like any good Spring Fling, there will be plenty of prizes and giveaways.

Mezza Luna is located near Farragut North Metro Station. This is a free event – bring your Temple friends!

Spring has arrived, the Grapefruit League is winding down and opening day is just around the corner. That means it’s time to register for our regional alumni club baseball outings. Catch a Phillies game (and a fabulous pre-game reception) with fellow Temple alumni in cities across the nation, including:

Phoenix: Phillies vs. Diamondbacks – Friday, April 23

San Francisco: Phillies vs. Giants – Tuesday, April 27

Temple men’s basketball is off to a phenomenal start in the A-10 season. Coming off wins against St. Joe’s and Rhode Island, the Owls are on fire as they head into home games against UMass and Xavier.

Live in the D.C. area? Join fellow alumni and fans at our official viewing party location, the Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, for these upcoming games:

Potluck Party

Temple football’s winning streak continues! After stomping the Rockets last weekend, the Owls are headed to Annapolis to take on the Midshipmen on Halloween.

Dave Yanovitz – one of our alumni club leaders down in the capitol area – is organizing a get-together in the Germantown Elementary School parking lot prior to the game. Let Dave know what you’re bringing by registering online at myowlspace.com/dcalumni.

Dress up as your favorite player, as Hooter the Owl or simply in your favorite Temple gear and join the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. for an informal tailgate before the game.
